About Us

The society is affiliated to both National Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Society of the UK . The society enables Dahlia and Chrysanthemum enthusiasts living in the Sunderland area to meet at its monthly meeting . These meetings includes regular informative talks from local and national experts on various topics not just Chrysanthemums and Dahlias. To promote the society a Annual Flower Show is held at Clays Garden Centre in September.

Several of the members exhibit at national shows around the country. If you are new to Dahlias or Chrysanthemums or want some tips on growing or exhibiting, there is a wealth of experience 'on tap'. Just come along and have a chat.

The society meets on the first Tuesday of the month , expect for January at Royal Naval Association Club, Roker Avenue, Sunderland.

Membership is very affordable at two pounds per year.
